You could have jitsi integrated with the riot chat client [1] and also bridges to other chat services that companies may use like slack and irc. [1] : https://medium.com/@RiotChat/riot-im-web-0-12-7c4ea84b180a [2] https://matrix.org/bridges/

That sounds like more a jitsi feature? We aren't committing to the upstream projects. Podium is taking the upstream projects and integrating them. For chat we use mattermost. Certainly we can use other chat systems and integrate them. Is that what you are asking or are you asking for an integration in Jitsi?

I see that I should have given more details. In Matrix you already have jitsi integrated in the Element (it seems that riot has been renamed last month) chat client. For me its killer feature is however bridging between messaging platforms. Element is able to bridge other communications into the app via Matrix such as IRC, Slack, Telegram... Today I have to interact with people on a daily basis on Slack, IRC, Google chat, Telegram and being able to interact with all the channels on all the messaging platform through a single client would be a big win. As most of the teams don't work fully isolated they may not have the choice of the messaging platform to use to communicate with others. Matrix solves this point and that's why I thought it may be of interest to you.
