Another patch.

I've made two panels one on bottom for the windows and one on the top for
launcher, systray and etc. But on my laptop top panel is looking very awful
because systray is placed right after the launcher.

I've made a little patch which is introducing new element called "FreeSpace"
(Letter S already used, i've selected F and named it FreeSpace). This element
has no configuration and can be enabled only via panel_items by letter "F" (my
top panel panel_items now is LFBSC)

It works perfectly for horizontal panels, for verticals must be too but i have
no such configuration for test.

You can see at the screenshot how truly amazing it looks now.

I did patch this and tried it.. Can you post your top tint2 config so that I
can test it with it.. I am getting some strange behavior and I want to see it
with your settings

Thanks

Config in attach.
You need previous patch from #381 for launcher_apps_dir config variable

All right.. I applied the launcher_apps_dir patch.. that is an awesome
addition. I am going to post on your original thread to explain it better.. I
really like the idea and method of using a config directory to use all .desktop
files.

The F freespace addition is a nice feature too .. I was trying it on a Task
only tint2 config I was playing with and it does not work well with tasks, but
I am going to continue to test

Very nice job in developing these additions

I think the freespace with task only tint2 is useless at least :)

What problem exactly you have ?

It affects any tint2 config that uses tasks after the F parameter.

So it you are running LFTC, the tasks get pinched together as one and by
clicking on them repeatedly they eventually expand and it keep moving up the
panel

Thanks

If you will use LTFC you will don't see tasks at all :)

Now i understood which effect you try to acquire by using this layout. But i
think this is impossible to combine T and F objects on one panel (or i don't
known how) because taskbar is tree of objects instead of one single object.

Maybe you need another option like task_direction = left/right or smth ?

Not an issue really, I was just testing the F option with some layouts and just
wanted to report the results

Thanks for the work and patches!
