5 years ago Can you suggest some ideas for what the user interface for adding/removing buttons would be? Also, what would the scope be? (E.g., a user account, a project, something for cocalc-docker, a client web browser, etc.)
Also, would you like to remove buttons as well? What about sharing extra x11 buttons with other users?

5 years ago I will make a draft with some graphical abstract as soon as possible!
Not sure about removing default installed app button, however custom button should be removable. Likely, default installed application may able to toggle between hidden, shown status.

CoCalc X11 is designed for execution of any GUI programs on remote server. It means, it is possible to install custom program using CLI commands(wget, curl, tar...).
It will be awesome when server(&docker) or project user could modify X11 app buttons.
