7plus doesn't save settings in portable mode #342

Is it reproducible?

Yes.

If yes, what steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Extract the zip file
2. Run 7plus with the -portable command line switch
3. Allow 7plus to elevate

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

Expected output is the first-run window. However, before that 7plus displays
the error message "No file access to settings files in 7plus directory. 7plus
will not be able to store its settings. Please move 7plus to a folder with
write permissions, run it as administrator, or grant write permissions to this
directory."

What version of the product are you using (Binary/Source/32/64bit)? On what
operating system (XP,Vista,7,32/64bit)?

7plus: version 2.4.0, 64-bit binary. OS: 64-bit Windows 7 SP1.

What is the language of your operating system/keyboard language?

OS: English. Keyboard: Finnish.

Please provide any additional information below.

Further testing showed me that 7plus indeed doesn't save any settings.

In the partition where I extracted 7plus, I have granted "Full Control" to
"Everyone". In addition, I allowed 7plus to elevate, so it ran as admin. 7plus
definitely is allowed to write into its directory.

By the way, 7plus created the directory %APPDATA%\7plus. It shouldn't do that
in portable mode.
