Burrill had significant social or political power as a religious official with substantial personal power as a United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB): Monsignor general secretary of the USCCB
substantive and discretionary anti-LGBT actions? I did not find Burrill as a signatory to any of the USCCB letter to congress. Using Google searches for activity pre-Grindr expose doesn't come up with anything anti-LGBT done by him personally, despite how "exceedingly homophobic / transphobic" the USCCB may be.
I think this should be closed with label:"not anti-LGBT" IMO.
