on rc branch after binaries are built, the binary needs to be run and a series of commands need to be validated

test if is gild installed
install incus in runner
test communication with incus
- there will be restrictions on virtualization in runner
- this may limit testing with incus
run gild new
run gild check

this is designed to be a series of sanity checks to validate all basic functionality on all platforms
