Freezing #91

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.Opening Fern
2.Selecting wlan0
3.System freezing

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

Program has to put the card into the monitor mode, instead, it freezes whole 
system, capslock led id freezed also...
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

Latest version of program, BackTrack 5
Please provide any additional information below.

Do i need to do something else? o.O

Does this happen all the time?

Most times you may just have to wait until the card is placed is placed in mode.
