Research defect #69

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Start a game in Windows with the command prompt
2. Research peer reviewing
3. Look at the command prompt

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
The command prompt shows that the research bonus could nog be applied on
'sience'. Probably a typo.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Windows xp version 0.30 English

Please provide any additional information below.
Minor issue

I ... don't see a single instance of the string "sience" anywhere in either
0.30 or
trunk. Am I missing something? :|

Any chance you can copy-paste exactly what the error message is, WvWisokee? I
know
cut-and-paste from the command prompt in Windows is a bit of a pain (those
stupid
buttons), but it'd help.

Exact error would be:
Unknown group 'science' in tech Project: Peer Review Agents.

Wow. Talk about a misleading error message. At least it pointed me to the
right
location. The problem is that I used the word 'discovery' instead of
'discover' when
I made those two projects actually do something. Which made them ... still not
do
anything. Fixed in r934, and I fixed the error message as well to actually
match
reality. (There was nothing wrong with 'science;' it was the /other/ word.
Sigh.)

Thanks, WvWisokee, emh.
