Tags with lowercase oligo sequence cause NPG's downstream analysis pipeline to break. Presently there is no validation on tag creation to prevent use of lowercase oligos Tags are created:- on upload of library manifests tag group creation page here

Acceptance criteria To be considered successful the solution must allow:

[ ] prevent creation of tags with lowercase oligo sequence
[ ] inform user that tag cannot be created
