Mixed Glue / Visual Search channel not working on Android #40

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
Description:
------------

Glue channel with visual search enabled but also specifying a traditional
pre-defined trackingXML url in the Result XML.

On iPhone the camera image is compared to the tracking XML like in he case of a
regular glue channel as long as the 'scan/detect' button is not clicked.

On Android the static tracking XML is ignored, no files are loaded (tracking
XML or 3D model specified in the first loaded result XML).

Only after the scan/detect button is clicked, the subsequently loaded result
XML is used, including tracking XML and model files.

If the bug is reproducable, please describe here. If necessary also provide
information about channel ID to be opened and steps to be taken to
reproduce error:
-------------------------------------------------

Create a glue channel with visual search enabled
Return a standard Glue response on first load
Try to detect the pre-programmed tracking image

- on iPhone, the image is detected and the (3D) object glued on top, as if it
were a regular glue channel
- on Android, nothing happens

iOS or Android version / device / junaio version
------------------------------------------------

IOS: current version on iPhone 4, current Appstore version of Junaio
Android: tested on 2.2 and 2.3, with client 2.5.4 (market) and 2.6 (RC2)

Please test it on latest Android version (2.6.0), and let me know if it works.
In case it does not work, please provide channel details (name, id) so that it
can be further debugged.

Thanks,

Arsalan

Hi Arsalan, this issue appears to be fixed in the release version after a clean
install from Android Market.

Thanks!
