Need to support merging additional columns into description #81

The colConfig syntax has some additional markup to indicate multiple
columns that can be merged into a description for display. Need to support
this in the metadata tools and exporter.

This has been fixed in the tool, and basically tested in the processing. 
Remains to
be verified all the way through to the DB.
