Works importing set to private #186

This was an issue on the boards from years ago, not sure if it is still here somewhere.

WOrks are being imported as private and I am not seeing it - i am usually using the site logged in so I cant tell that this has happened. Right now there are about 1400 of them. SOme of these are from last may when i ran an update on the Christ Church CLIR grant project - we have been udpating from them for years now, they are pretty exacting and careful with metadata so it seems odd these random ones are set to private

How do we keep this from happening? I cant do anything about the works when they get set private other than one by one by one undo this which is not reasonable.

What is causing this to happen? is there a reason these works are private or is it random?

Crystal Oct 2022:

Most importantly to get these set to public. Go to home page, featured collection Philadelphia Congregations Early Records Project and set all works that are in the collections and subcollections.

Can also re-run the importers to pull in changes if this fixes the visibility.

Lastly, what caused these to come in as private?

Christy, can we close this as all items have been removed. I am hoping the importer upgrade resolves this.
