On the change of the reducer to accommodate the new mounting strategy: Phil Kuczewski philk@bnl.gov | 13 April 2017
Hi All, If we install the MVLX075L 0.75X Magnifying Lens. We will go from a working distance of 92mm to 113mm. That gives us an extra 21mm distance. The magnification of the zoom lens will still be fine but we will have to zoom in a little more. The MVL6X05L 0.5X Magnifying Lens would increase our w/d even more to 175mm but I am afraid we will start losing image brightness from the lighting system at this distance. I would recommend we go with the MVLX075L from Thorlabs.
Camera set up as of 22 May 2017.
