DAOsign: Smart Signature & Workflow Automation Platform #124

Project Overview

DAOsign is a smart signature and workflow automation platform, with publicly verifiable, cryptographic proofs-of-signature, designed for DAOs and WEB3 companies.

Verifiable Signature is at the core of DAOsign and is based on 3 key proofs: proof-of-identify, proof-of-authority, and proof-of-agreement. Utilizing these proofs, DAOsign provides a platform to design and configure complex workflows that combine smart-contract-based automation with authorized approvals.

Our project is blockchain agnostic, so users can choose where to store the proofs. DAOsign already allows users to store proofs of signature in the IPFS, Ethereum launch is planned in the nearest time. Also, recently, we received grants from SUI and Polkadot, so DAOsign users will be able to use these blockchains for proofs storing purposes soon as well.

Furthermore, DAOsign provides a robust Governance and Policy Builder platform to offer governance, workflow automation, and controls for organizational policies and procedures.

Problem / Solution

One of the most important features of blockchain is privacy and the ability to remain anonymous, especially when it comes to signing important documents. One of the reasons that motivated us to create DAOsign is our previous work as a consulting agency. We often encountered a situation where signing legal agreements with clients was challenging because they did not want to reveal their identities. Neither DocuSign nor other signature platforms could solve this problem. Subsequently, we decided to create a product that addresses the need for a secure and transparent way to sign, manage, and automate agreements of all kinds with a configurable level of anonymity disclosure.

Network Improvement Details

DAOsign aligns with an area of the current Grant Program, Privacy-as-a-Service. DAOsign can enhance the Secret Network by introducing a privacy-focused, decentralized agreement signing and governance automation platform. Leveraging Secret Network's secure infrastructure, DAOsign ensures confidential contract implementation, fostering trust and privacy within DAO operations. Our features, like the Governance Automation System along with the overall DAOsign stack, can streamline the processes inside the Network, contributing to increased efficiency and a seamless user experience. Apart from that, we have a Use Case, designed particularly for Grants Program. The goal is to simplify all the stages of the foundation process for the grantor and grantee. If you're interested in this Use case we would be happy to implement it specifically for the Secret Network Grant Program. Also, if you have any ideas of usage DAOsign usage for your Ecosystem, we would gladly discuss it.

Go-to-Market

From the very beginning, our go-to-market plan was like this:

  1. DAOs: contact DAOs that we personally know, contact the top 100 DAOs, regularly check new DAOs, and offer them our platform.
  2. Startups: same plan as with DAOs
  3. Participation in various web3 conferences/events and promoting of DAOsign there.

We want to point out that DAOsign goes beyond the scope of DAO, and can be used by any organizations that need to handle agreement/policy management. Also, our recently published use case for commodities trading shows that DAOsign can also be used in the traditional world.
