Your hypothesis is that wing length will change "throughout time" but you don't have time in your data. Just two bins, modern and historical. But what is "historical" and how comparable is "historical" across species? I don't think this is going to work.

Are you recommending finding new data or just change my hypothesis? Do you believe I can make an evolutionary hypothesis with this data set?

These data can work for an evolutionary hypothesis, just not the one you wrote. You can come up with one that matches these data or find other data.
