Which device (manufacturer, type)? moto droid x

Which firmware is installed? 2.3.4

What version of wireless tether are you using?beta 6

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.tether
2.stop tethering
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?on beta 2, sometimes it
would reestablish a connection to the google servers (BLUE 3g status instead of
white) the verizon tethering app works this way

Please provide any additional information below.
on beta 2 i found that enabling pandora before tethering kept the 3g/1x status
blue instead of turning white while tethering, and not losing connection to
google after tethering was shutdown. without the 3g being blue, dowloading from
the market (you can search, just cant download) and amazon app store dont work
when the verizon 3g tether app disconnects it disables the radio again and
seems to reestablish the connection to google properly.

I wanted to add to this:

I'm running 3.2-beta2 and I've found that if I set the phone to airplane mode
before starting the tether, the 3G connection will re-establish a connection
with Google once airplane mode is disabled. However as the bug states, if I
start tethering without putting the phone into airplane mode the connection
with Google is never re-established.

Phone: Droid X
Android: 2.3.3
Wifi Tether: 3.2-beta 2 ***Beta***

Steps:
1.Launch wifi tether 3.2-beta2 ***Beta***
2.Put phone into Airplane mode
3.Start tether
4.Bring phone out of Airplane mode

Device should reconnect to Google servers (blue 3G connection icon).

Settings:
Device-Profile: Auto
Setup-Method: Auto
Enable Wifi-Encryption: Checked
Dont' disable Bluetooth: Checked
Access-Control: Off
Keep Alive: Checked
Routing Fix: Checked
Vibrate on connect: Checked
*All other settings are default.*
