Xoom Wont Connect to Wifi Tether

Which device: Samsung Droid Charge

Which firmware is installed?
2.2.1
What version of wireless tether are you using?
Currently 3.1-Beta6 (tried all versions)
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Start WiFi Tether
2. Xoom cant connect 
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Should connect, does not connect

Please provide any additional information below.
Seems to have stopped when Xoom upgraded to 3.2

I had the same problem, then I enabled Wi-Fi encryption and my Xoom could 
suddenly see it.  Give that a try.  I'm using 3.1 beta 6.

what samrt phone do you have?  i tried that no go , from my charge to xoom
