Please help! Google assistant not working even with mic fully working and google assistant turned on. #2065

I have chrome os working on surface pro 3 with rammus 116 and brunch 116.

My microphone is fully working as I can do video calls and do voice dictations without issues. I retrained the assistant voice without issues and was hearing my voice during the setup. However, I cannot access google assistant even when its turned on at "always on". It also does not work or hear my voice when i press the start button on the lower left of the taskbar to access google assistant. Any advice to try or idea why it is isolated to google assitant? Thanks in advance

I can confirm that this is still an issue on:

Brunch r126 stable 20240630 / rammus R126 + Brunch r127 20240822 / rammus R127

@sebanc Is this a known bug or can I provide you with some log files etc?
