Feature Request and Clarification Question

For clarification, I don't quite understand the difference you are pointing to between requested by and notified by.

For Feature Request, I see this tool useful in sharing with the congregation when people are hospitalized if desired. A check box like the communion yes/no on the add screen to indicate whether the person wants the congregation to be notified about their hospitalizatoin or not.

In addition, a tie in/workflow tie in where one can indicate if they want on the prayer chain or not with a box to type in what to appear on the prayer wall would be a helpful addition to capture everything at once when the call is made.

Requested by is the staff member or volunteer who enters the request into Rock. "Notified By" is a free form text field to be used to help specify who called the church to report it. Often when a hospitalization or nursing home resident is reported to the church it will be reported by a family member, friend, or possibly a staff member of the facility. Often those people are not actually in Rock or you might not catch all their information so this lets you enter whatever you need to enter in the field.
