Heya Tia,
Firstly please try logging into a different region and changing your outfit and see if your avatar will rez. If your problem turns out to be limited to one specific region, then this region needs to be restarted.
If testing on a different region does not help the please can you try the following: In the top menu bar of the viewer, go to Me -> Choose an Avatar -> Classic -> Choose one of those avatars and use "Select". Your avatar should hopefully rez correctly once you have done this and you can then get dressed normally.
If this doesn't help, create a new folder in your inventory and inside this folder, place a skin, a shape, a hairbase and some eyes (non-prim). Then Right click this folder and REPLACE outfit. You must replace, not wear or add to or it wont work. If your avatar then rezzes, you can get dressed normally.

Steps to Reproduce
I was doing nothing but standing in a sim .... all other sims produce the same result, my avi is a cloud :(
Actual Behavior
Two days ago my avatar suddenly became a cloud. No changes were made, no items were received at the time. Since then I have tried clearing my cache, relogging, uninstalling and reinstalling the sl viewer and other viewers, undressing all attachments and clothing .... nothing has worked!!!!
Expected Behavior
I was expecting to see my avatar as I always have been able to!
