[BUG-225413] In Market Place, during edit process to create listing for a new product.. the "search" window no longer works for new items. #4219

What just happened?

I have been listing items in Market Pl.ace for over 10 years and never before encountered this problem.. When editing a new listing, and go to add the demo, When the search box appears and I put the name of the item into the box.. nothing comes up. If I go to edit the demo and select the :Quick Fill option, when the search box appears I put in the name of the item and again nothing comes up.

What were you doing when it happened?

No error messages just no response from the search box when entering the name of a new product... If I put an old already listed and activated item in the search box it will find that but NO NEW items.

What were you expecting to happen instead?

I expected the search to find the new listed items like it has done thousands of times before when editing a new item. Last few time it has failed.

So I am doing what they asked.. it would be amazing if this could be fixed soon as it now takes hours to edit without the use of the search .. and I cannot add my demos or related products since the search will not respond.

This is a known issue and relates to inactive items being ignored, we're working on it for a future release!
