[BUG-226706] all in world textures appear corrupted as rainbow colors #5175

What just happened?

while I was connected to SL, my computer rebooted. when I reconnected, I saw everything in color (avatar, hud, objects, land...)

What were you doing when it happened?

nothing, I was playing at SL

What were you expecting to happen instead?

that textures are normal

Other information

-I uninstalled SLviewer, then reinstalled, the textures are always of all colors. -when I connect to firestorm, there is no problem, only on the official viewer. -it concerns only what I am wearing, where it happened, and some objects when I go to other land

Hiya Tabatah,

The most likely cause of what's shown in your image is that you have corrupted textures in your viewer cache, so lets try a cache clear first & see if this fixes the problem. In the top menu bar of the viewer, go to Me -> Preferences -> Advanced. Click the "Clear Cache" button & then relog - cache will be wiped when you restart the viewer.

Does this fix the problem?

Hi!

I emptied my cache but it did not solve the problem. I uninstalled and reinstalled it several times, and it worked!
