The sequence diagram might not have showed it but in the earlier part (in text) of describing the implementation does.

Reason for disagreement: The Person person is still not explained in the documentation. Is this person referring to the target person?

Regardless, based on the purpose of the sequence diagram, it is meant to "model the interactions between various entities in the system"

If you intend to use the Person person, it is important to model this entity to make it more understandable, expecially if you are planning to replace the person. Since it is unclear and does not satisfactorily explain the entity, the issue should remain.
