Advanced Brightness Controller is a Budgie Desktop applet for productivity.

Uninstall

# Remove the applet from budgie desktop panel
# Unilstall icon
  sudo rm /usr/share/pixmaps/budgie-advanced-brightness-controller-1-symbolic.svg
# Unilstall config
  sudo rm -rf ~/.config/budgie-advanced-brightness-controller
# Uninstall source
  sudo rm -rf /usr/lib/budgie-desktop/plugins/budgie-advanced-brightness-controller


Install

Install From Budgie Applets app in Ubuntu Budgie 19.04

or

Install from source code:

# Uninstall old version.
# Clone from github
# Move into budgie-advanced-brightness-controller dir
  cd  budgie-advanced-brightness-controller
# Build  
  meson --buildtype plain --prefix=/usr --libdir=/usr/lib --sysconfdir=/etc ..
# Compile
  ninja -v
# Install  
  sudo ninja install
# Restart laptop or logout-login or replace budgie desktop 
  budgie-panel --replace & 
# or without terminal output  
  nohup budgie-panel --reset --replace &
# Add Advanced Brightness Controller to your panel from Budgie Desktop Settings
