Mac Installer Progress #16

Hello brothers, I am currently in the process of trying to build the mac installer. It seems electron-installer-dmg does not work very well with the program, as the dmg it creates has a path error (the .app works perfectly, so it is either appdmg or electron-installer-dmg) Currently in the process of finding a new dmg builder, I have multiple options so it shouldn't be too hard.

Hopefully it will be ready today or tomorrow. 🙂

Strange, it is not the dmg builder it seems. I am getting this error with build-dmg and node-appdmg image

I am not familiar with MacOS so I do not know how dmgs differ from .app files but the .app file seems to open just fine, but when built to a dmg it gives this error.

are you compiling it on a mac computer itself and if so what version of OS?

Yes, it's being compiled on Mac 10.14 Mojave

ideally it needs to be built using Mac machine or it may not be built correctly. I can take a look into this further may be later tonight. I built it almost 4 year ago...so not sure same installer pkg is still valid or any updated version should be used.
