not sure myself, can see arguments either way, but I at least would be fine with either answer
The IRTF chair should be covered by some CoI policy. I'm not sure this is the right policy, since the role has aspects that are quite different to the rest of the IAB.
I guess the IRTF chair could be covered by >1 policy but that's similar to the IETF and IAB chairs and others who could weak >1 hat I guess, so doesn't give an answer to mark's question
For the next rev, I'm gonna edit so that only the nomcom-selected IAB members are covered individuals. (Happy to change that if doing so is better of course.) My logic is basically that that's simpler/clearer and it's those folks who'll vote to accept/change this CoI policy, Will leave the issue open though as I'm still not sure that's really the best answer.
The IETF Chair votes. If you're including the IETF Chair then the total is 13. If you're not, I think that should be explicitly stated so no one gets confused later.
I'm recommending including at least voting persons, if not also the IRTF chair. Other liaisons not.
Does this include non-voting members (i.e., liaisons and ex-officio officers)?
