Session Registration Cancellation

• I should be able to cancel a session registration. need to keep canceled records for reporting purposes

• When all session registrations under an event is canceled, event registration should also be canceled.

• If there is no active event registration for an event, session registration can not be created under the sessions of the event

• Canceled session registrations should be excluded from overlap validations. Same way, if a canceled registration is activated, the overlap validations should be applied.

• There can be multiple canceled session registrations and 1 active session registration on the system which belongs to a same session and contact

• Session Registration Rollups should be updated

Hi @sgoEma , @sercanEmakina , Here is my first solution,

Solution_1: We already have "cancelled" checkbox on Session Registration Records and Before Save Session Registration Validations which gets triggered on create. With the following steps below we can solve this ticket:

• Set Before Save Session Registration Flow's trigger to be on create or on update.
• Check for only the Active Event Registrations on the isRegistered Decision.
• Exclude cancelled Session Registrations from overlap check with a decision element.
• Uncheck "prevent duplicates" option from the JunctionID field instead create a matching rule and a duplicate rule like we did on #48 .
• Update Rollups if necessary.
• Create a new field for counting Session Registrations on Even Registration
• Create an After Save Session Registration Flow
• On that flow apply the following steps:
  • Get related Event Registration
  • If Session Registration record is new and not cancelled update the counting field of Event Registration increase by 1
  • If Session Registration record got cancelled reduce by 1 and if the field hit 0 then cancel that Event Registration
