Android doesn't boot with zImage Kernel #2

When I start the emulator using "emulator -kernel zImage -noskin" it seems
to startup right until it stoppes in the red light animation after the text
"android_" is displayed.

Is that a problem with the kernel or with this version of the emulator
(downloaded on 17 March)?

I'm using windows xp

I downloaded an earlier version of the android sdk
(android_sdk_windows_m3-rc22a) and
it worked now.
But i have another problem
when i run xvncviewer it doesn't recognize the command.. thats supposed to be
ran in
the telnet session isn't it?

The new version of the emulator doesn't need the modified kernel image to run
the
fbvncserver.

The modified kernel file is still required to android-sdk-windows-1.0_r1 in
order to
allow key pressing emulation. As the zImage provided in this site just works
for
android_sdk_windows_m3-rc22a, does anybody have the proper kernel file updated
to
the android-sdk-windows-1.0_r1?

What exactly is the kernel patch/config change in the modified kernel file? I'm
running Android on a custom platform, so the provided zImage file won't work
for me...
