It appears I cannot smelt iron ores of any kind with this mod #5

I believe it is an issue with this mod and Unearthed, as they both add ore variants.

You'll need to set the replace boolean to false where applicable. I.e: https://github.com/shedaniel/gravel-ores/blob/e0f51b0d95f6ae0964698b634776815287712bfa/src/main/resources/data/c/tags/items/gold_ores.json#L2
