I wrote a custom Github Action for deploying chrome-aws-lambda that might make keeping this up to date easier in the future. Thought it might be useful.

Also, I'm currently publishing more recent revisions in a separate repo for those looking for more up to date layers: Lambda Layers For chrome-aws-lambda

Thanks for the suggestion, but we plan to stick with CircleCI. Also, our repo now has the latest version unlike the one you linked, so this project is still alive.
