[Request] Slide Controller emulation #126

The Slide Controller was an accessory for Slide Adventure MAGKID, a Nintendo co-developed game never released outside of Japan. It basically was a combination rumble pak and optical mouse, and is needed to play the game.

According to the Emulation General wiki, an emulator named iDeaS emulated it with a plugin, but the link is dead, making this game and accessory completely unemulated.

As an aside, I really enjoy your Edge of Emulation articles, they are actually what inspired me to learn how emulators work and even contribute to some.

I actually did start work on emulating the Mag Kid Slide Controller a while ago. I managed to get past the error screen when the NDS can't detect the controller, but it freezes after the Nintendo logo. Once that bug's taken care of eventually, it should allow GBE+ to boot the rest of the game and I can emulate it afterwards.
