Netplay Crashes #162

So I'm fairly new to the modding scene, and I've constantly hit the same hurdle on this emulator....

I try to set up netplay for two instances of this game (on same computer) and try out the Mystery Gift feature, just to get it to work.

My current specs are, as of the most recent test: specs I've regularly been trying to no avail to get it to work. Player 1 will freeze until I Force-Quit, and Player 2 will straight-up crash.

Recently I tried setting Emulation type to GBC, but it didn't look like it changed anything. I'll try again shortly after this message.

Edit: HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL-EEEEEEEEEE SHIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIT!!!!!!! IT WORKED! gengar doll I'm not sure what I did differently this time, other than leave that 2nd supplementary .exe un-minimized (the one with the cmd-like prompts describing background details). No idea why that happens, or why that would work... But it worked!

I figured out what was going on: If you don't press the "A" button before starting netplay, the emulator starts chugging. It works fine after pressing "A" when you're prompted
