The following link shows the result of running pdfcrack-ng on a PDF with a new security revision 6 (AES 256) - that is currently unsupported.

Few details of this new security handler are available, some links:

Need to get a sample PDF based on this new security handler - ideally TestPDF0.pdf encrypted with this mechanism.

Hi,

I came over an encrypted pdf that gave the error message: "The specific version is not supported (Standard - 6)"

Is there an option to send the example.

Sorry about the long delay...

If you could upload it to Gdrive or some such file sharing location and post the link here along with the password.

As long as the doc doesn't contain anything confidential and you know the password that is!
