Default Database not set and objct User dont have attribute 'properties' #194

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. download google-app-engine-django from svn
2. download django from svn
3. download GAE for linux
4. Create a link to google_appengine folder
5. edit app.yaml to application name
6. python manage.py startserver

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Webpage saying that it works. but 1º said hat dont have default db, so edited 
a default db, later said 

AttributeError: type object 'User' has no attribute 'properties'

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

Please provide any additional information below.
