mochiweb not starting

I created a vanilla Debian 7 machine for DirBustErl, installed all dependencies via APT or PIP. When starting with ./start.sh the process terminates with the following message:

Thanks, it seems that it cannot find ibrowse. Try building and/or downloading a version of rebar that works better and execute ./rebar compile. See https://github.com/rebar/rebar#building for instructions w.r.t both methods.
