bad text placement in iconbar

When launching an application on another desktop than the current one (with remember desktop) there is no or not enough space between the applications icon and the text in the iconbar.

Gets corrected as soon as iconbar gets updated I suppose (ex: switch desktop, give another window the focus etc.)

I attached a small picture which shows the problem.

Tested with fluxbox 1.0. and current svn.

I have the same problem, and I figured out that it is only present when "toolbar.iconbar.unfocused: " option is used in style configuration. Tested with 1.0rc2 and 0.9.14.

nack, I don't use toolbar.iconbar.unfocused in my style, the problem appears anyway.

This one doesn't happen to me, and I do have toolbar.iconbar.unfocused in my style. There is a noticeable difference in empty space (maybe 3-4 pixels), but it doesn't overlap. Does this still happen to you? If it does, can you play around and figure out which setting causes it? My style is at http://mark.tiefenbruck.org/fluxbox/configs/MarkFluxStyle .

Dear Mark I tried it with your style and the most recent svn version of fluxbox, the result is still the same as you can see in the attached file.

This only happens, as I allready said, when the application is not started on the current virtual desktop.

The apps entry should be fine, fluxbox is compiled with:

Fluxbox version: 1.0rc2 SVN Revision: 4624 Compiled: Jan 2 2007 13:29:55 Compiler: GCC Compiler version: 4.1.1 (Gentoo 4.1.1-r1)

Defaults: menu: /usr/local/share/fluxbox/menu style: /usr/local/share/fluxbox/styles/Clean keys: /usr/local/share/fluxbox/keys init: /usr/local/share/fluxbox/init nls: /usr/local/share/fluxbox/nls

Compiled options (- => disabled): -DEBUG EWMH GNOME IMLIB2 KDE NLS REMEMBER RENDER SHAPE SLIT TOOLBAR XFT XINERAMA XMB XPM

You have a bigger toolbar than I do. 8)

I'm not going to go so far as to say this is fixed in svn, but it now works in svn.
