Hi Jim,
Interesting you chose to use every solution other than our qryn (which already brings all the components into one for the purpose) and/or homer10 which comes with everything already bundled and known correct versions of Grafana. This warning is well known as Grafana and you can find details and documentation on their site as of what it means, which versions it affects and how to disable it to use the current plugin.
Thanks,
Lorenzo
Hi Lorenzo,
I was just following the instructions and wikis I found for Homer. Homer 10 is in a docker container I'm reading? And so I'm just following what I can find on line. Homer 7 seems to be what is most developed rn?
I'll look into the rest.

Thanks Lorenzo, I appreciate you taking the time to answer my questions. There is a lot of information about a lot of different aspects to the products, and I'm trying to sort it all out. I'm going to go ahead and try some of your suggestions above.

You can easily deduce each setting from our examples https://github.com/sipcapture/homer7-docker/blob/master/heplify-server/hom7-prom-all/docker-compose.yml#L73 without having to actually use it or you can use the Homer 10 https://github.com/sipcapture/homer-docker/blob/main/all-in-one/docker-compose.yml examples which completely replace loki/prometheus/tempo etc with our stack
- this can be used in parallel with H7 as well or exclusively in H10 mode. Up to you.

Yeah, it's as I thought, we're not using any containers for our implementation, and I don't see an H10 installation method for a physical server. Or, more likely, I'm just not aware of how to do something like that.

LOL, we must be really behind the times. I won't bother you any more on this topic. I'm reading all the different options you have on this page https://qryn.metrico.in/#/installation and we don't have anything like these. LOL I can't even find a starting point. Not even nodejs or npm
have a good day.

In general principle - its all the same - heplify server traffic gets scraped and dashboards rely on this data. Postgres is not part of any statistical aspect, so you can focus exclusively on the prometheus (or qryn) and grafana front. For most widgets all you have to do is re-save them using the latest Grafana plugin version and that's all it should take. The H10 examples should be fine as they are slightly more recent.
Good day friends,
I've just managed to get victoriametrics, proemetheus, and grafana all kind of working together with homer and postgres...I think.
But I'm very new to this environment. When I imported my first homer dashboard from the grafana dashboards, there's an error that the dashboard requires angular, and this is now deprecated.
I've tried other dashboards, and some other generalized research, but I can't seem to get things working.
Any tips?
Thanks, Jim
