Highlighting #13

@djbpitt I know we're planning to address the javascript for highlighting on Wednesday, but would it be possible to make the simplest part work today? I'd like to be able to have the site up at the conference and this represents an important part of the project. It doesn't have to be complete, just complete enough for the casual observer. I tried a few things off stack but to no avail; could I stop by office hours?
