Exciting work. Love it that you are exploring autoencoders.

I wish this works similarly well with sparse autoencoders, hence the title of the issue.

Glad you approve :) I'm looking to use some flavor of autoencoder for mental imagery. My goal is to complete a Beta-Variational Autoencoder by Monday.

We must have a discussion soon about sparsification :).
