cannot load such file -- v8 #103

Dependency Error: Yikes! It looks like you don't have /home/xx/gh/yefeiyu.github.io/_app/_plugins/jekyll_lunr_js_search.rb or one of its dependencies installed. In order to use Jekyll as currently configured, you'll need to install this gem. The full error message from Ruby is: 'cannot load such file -- v8' If you run into trouble, you can find helpful resources at http://jekyllrb.com/help/!

I solved the question through bundle install some gems.

Hi, yefeiyu. Could you please share what gems should be installed when get the same error message?

you need to add the line of " gems theredracer" to gems.file, and then bundle update

i have the same problem with you,i have install jekyll-lunr-js-search,but no matter i use local _plugins/jekyll_lunr_js_search.rb or gem[jekyll-lunr-js-search] it doesn't work

or, you can use “gem install node-sass” to try again.
