Activist Type iconic individual image is not being shown correctly

there are unwanted white borders around Mandela's photo

This is a problem with the image itself. Specifically, those white borders are part of the image - not part of the container in which the image is displayed. That was never apparent in the old Activist Mirror because the background of the results page is the same white color. The image of Rosa Parks suffered the same problem until I searched the web for the source image and edited that image to create one without borders. I looked around just now to see if I could pursue a similar strategy with this image, but the one I found is but 215px wide, which makes it hard to use. The one we already have is 250x250, but only because of the white border. Now, it's certainly possible to edit off the white borders to make a narrower image. What would you like to do?
