Hi, I am afraid I'll be unable to keep maintenance of Rdisop, as the number of open bugs is increasing, and the C++ part has never really been maintained by me at all. In case someone wants to adopt the package, please contact me. Yours, Steffen

@sneumann is there any other package which suits a similar purpose and is actively maintained?

Hi, I haven't looked recently, but afaik nothing with the very fast DISOP algorithm by the Boecker group. There are ways to calculate via rCDK or Babel. I only checked the other way around a while ago in "did you know that #metaRbolomics world has many ways to calculate molecular weight in #R given the molecular formula" https://twitter.com/sneumannoffice/status/1570070283083710465. @sneumann do you think it is realistic to ask all packages depending on RDISOP to swap out this dependency for something else?
