please package netcdf4-python for popular distros such as ubuntu, debian, fedora, etc. #157

Hi,

the netcdf4-python package is very useful as it seemingly is the only way to 
read netcdf-4 files in python.  However, its widespread use is hampered by its 
installation process which is not easy for normal users.  

Please consider creating packages for distributions such as ubuntu, debian, 
fedora, etc.

There is a ppa out there for ubuntu-based distros (see the UbuntuInstall wiki 
page) but it is not listed in the downloads page.  Are there similar repos for 
other distros that are not advertised?

there are packages out there for many distributions (macports for macos x for 
example).  It would be nice if someone were willing to create a wiki page with 
links to all of them.  I don't have the time to create packages myself.
