Needs to work better on lower resolution screens i.e. 720p #623

Users are reporting that the AIMS is difficult to use on many laptop screens which have 1280 pixels wide, and 720 pixels tall.

  1. Test all screens at this resolution
  2. Identify which screen do not fit their width - or where this width breaks the layout
  3. Identify where this breaks the layout in other ways e.g. the menu-bar, making the filters take up so much of the page that the 'search' buttons are not visible etc
  4. Suggest resultions - probably making the filters more compact, reducing the free space between them, reducing the font etc, as many of the UI elements are nested multiple times, each with their own css borders
