Honestly this would help out a lot.
If this were to be added it would also be important to add a way to change donator email, with confirmation that the email is owned by the person wishing to change it, as if you no longer have access to the email you donated with, you wouldn't be able to manually transfer it that way.
I was gonna add this earlier, but one flaw with this: If your email was compromised, which sparked the cape changing, then they could easily continue moving the cape around. Unless ofc you change the password. But it could be helpful if you, say, had email notifications on your computer, and you got the message every time the cape was moving, and you could see where the cape was going, then you could see your email was compromised, and fix it thusly. After writing that, I found out if you had notifications on or the like, it would be a really good security feature.
Most cape steal incidents are not linked in any way to the actual email account being stolen. Out of all instances I have seen, it happened maybe once or twice (out of basically hundreds). Those who have their email stolen have much bigger things to worry about, and I somehow doubt that the first thing an email thief would do would be to go after their optifine cape.

A good idea may be to require email confirmation when performing a cape transfer. Since many stolen capes seem to be happening on the OptiFine website regardless of access to the email account, sending a confirmation email when attempting to transfer the cape would solve 99% of stolen cases. It would even solve the stealing cases which happen when a hacker has access to the Minecraft account itself.
