Public test demo neopixel no longer lighting up, needs replacement and better unit tests #227

Would be good to have a unit test that can auto-check for something like this. Just a rough check that turning on the light produces a reasonable set of spectra values after background submission. Also, a good future reference that I need to transport it more carefully (i.e., in a case).

In the meantime, I'll just need to swap it out with another Maker Pi Pico base

The Pico W microcontroller pin connection seems to have broken. What I get for being too rough with it for a very long time (storing in backpack without a case, traveling internationally, etc.). Swapped out the Pico W and good to go.
