so sorry the pull request was a complete fluke it was meant for the fork version and really sorry for the copyright thing I didn't even see it I think it might have been a sort of autocomplete type of thing, anyway thanks for having warned me I'll take care of it and good luck to you guys.

We have not written contribution guidelines yet but a general rule would be:
It goes without saying that credit should be given to people deserving the credit so in my opinion even if a fork is created there should be a mention of the repository/project you forked from and that code you use. This should even be required by the GPL License we use in our repository. Everyone is welcome to fork the repository under the terms of GPL of course, but then it should be made clear in the documentation that it is a fork, unless the project is rewritten from scratch.
