Some general tidyups.

Removed the GIdle sync_files - this is obviously pending #157 resolution.

Name sorting should be case-insensitive IMHO - looks very odd to have this kind of name sort i.e. "b" should be before "S"

Could you add the link_to variable back but comment it out instead? It'll probably be needed if the "drag & drop the same file into the same folder to create a link" behaviour is restored.
