[Bug] Ugly solid gray wallpaper which then snaps to black and then back to gray when launcher is loading

The wallpaper is a solid gray while the launcher is loading, and then the real one suddenly pops in.

This happens even when the selected wallpaper is a local user on-disk wallpaper.

Let's try to improve it as follows:

• For local disk wallpapers, load it immediately if possible.
• For all other wallpapers, start with some nicer solid or gradient background color (because solid gray is horrible), and then fade in the real image when it has finished loading.

Interesting... I just restarted my TV a few times to confirm what is happening and why it looks so unpolished:

• First the gradient background appears.
• Then the square gray "card loading placeholder" tiles appear. (Separate issue: https://github.com/spocky/miproja1/issues/163)
• Then the entire screen goes totally BLACK. Which is a very jarring and ugly effect.
• Then the gray background and square gray tiles appear again.
• And then FINALLY the wallpaper fades in smoothly.

Is it possible to avoid that black screen? My guess is that it comes from you when you replace the gradient background layer with another black layer that is ready to fade in the real wallpaper? The switch between background layers then becomes a black, empty screen for about half a second.

Perhaps it can be improved so that it doesn't snap to pitch black in such a jarring way?
