Hi Guys,

Just wondering if this project is still active/in use? We are interested in deploying such a solution ourselves and trying to find out what the best options are.

Hi @bolkedebruin ,

this project is not active anymore. In fact, we replaced it with a custom proxy written in Golang which is developed in-house. There were also plans to open-source this new service but haven't done it yet.

@klingtnet Thanks for the response. Can you share what made you switch, because we are investigating basically the same? Obviously, open sourcing the new project would be highly appreciated.

@bolkedebruin Sorry for the very delayed answer,

I think we are following different aims with the project. Our reimplementation in Go basically handles geo-replication, failovers and provides observability through metrics and alerts. The solution got quite custom over time which means that it won't be open sourced in the near future.
